VIDEO: China & Dominica celebrate 20 years of friendship with cultural night

As part of observances to mark the 20th anniversary of ties between China and the Commonwealth of Dominica, a cultural night was hosted to showcase the two cultures of both countries.

The event was also addressed by several dignatories including newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Dominica, H.E. Chu Maoming, who lauded the close ties between the two nations.

The cultural performances included dance, songs and cultural display, including the playing of the steel-pan.

Since the two countries established diplomatic ties two decades ago, the relationship between China and Dominica has enjoyed steady growth and become a fine example of mutual respect, equality, mutual benefit, common development and win-win cooperation between countries of different sizes.
