Shanghai Disneyland to welcome first major Marvel attraction

The Shanghai Disney Resort announced on Sunday that Shanghai Disneyland will open a brand-new roller coaster with a Spider-Man theme, marking the park's first significant addition that will tell a Marvel tale.

Josh D'Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, revealed the details of the high-speed, immersive roller coaster during Disney's worldwide fan expo. Spider-Man is one of the most well-known Marvel super heroes.

It is the most recent addition to Shanghai Disney Resort. The new roller coaster is next to the world's first Zootopia park, which Shanghai Disney Resort unveiled in December 2023.

The corporation claims that a third hotel with a Disney motif is part of the resort's ongoing growth plans.
