Chinese embassy donates musical instruments to school in Suriname

Muziekeducatie Lelydorp & Omgeving, a music school in Suriname, has received a donation of musical instruments from the Chinese Embassy.

A Pearl River piano and a collection of brand-new instruments and gadgets were ceremoniously turned over on Sunday.

With this donation, educators and students will be able to overcome obstacles and follow their passion for music.

China, according to the music school, has remained friendly with Suriname and is willing to support the cultural advancement of youth in Lelydorp, among other places.

Parents, students, and the community have all expressed gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for their friendship and ongoing assistance.
