China plans to launch the Shenzhou-19 crewed spaceship at 4:27 a.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the country's northwest, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).

Chinese astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong and Wang Haoze will carry out the spaceflight mission, the CMSA announced at a press conference on Tuesday.

Cai, who returned to Earth on board the Shenzhou-14 manned spaceship in December 2022, will be the commander this time.
