China markets commercial vehicles in Suriname

A promotional event for Chinese heavy machinery and commercial vehicles was recently held at the Chinese Embassy in Suriname, with several people from the government and private sector of both countries in attendance.

Surinamese Minister of Public Works, Mr. Riad Nurmohamed, Minister of Economy, Ms. Rishma Kuldipsingh, Members of Parliament, Mr. Wang Chuanrui and Mr. Stephen Tsang and the Chinese Ambassador Han Jing also presented at the event. It marked another milestone since the launch of the strategic alliance ceremony last year.

The Chinese Embassy said after a year of negotiations, progress, and cooperation, it's evident that both countries' enterprises and consumers have gained a deeper understanding of each other, leading to greater integration of bilateral markets and broader cooperation opportunities.

Further, the embassy said it continues to drive its commitment to furthering bilateral trade between China and Suriname, especially as it commemorates the 11th anniversary of Chinese President Xi Jinping's proposal to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
